Firat Aslanel understands the skin—its structure and biology, how it ages, and how it responds to light and energy. As a specialist in Dermatology and Venereology (FMH), he combines medical, surgical, laser-based and aesthetic dermatology, drawing on more than a decade of clinical experience.

01Career
His career took him from hospital dermatology in Heilbronn to a dermatology practice in Zurich, where he worked for several years, most recently as Deputy Medical Director. In daily practice, he worked with laser systems from leading manufacturers. He later founded Dermatologie Aslanel in Zurich-Seefeld for medical dermatology and Cutivion AG for aesthetic medicine and laser treatments. He also led laser training as a specialist physician at the Zurich location of the Clinique DELC Group.
02Teaching
He shares his knowledge through teaching. As a Faculty Member at UMA Academy in Amsterdam, he teaches laser medicine and aesthetic injection techniques. In Switzerland, he prepared colleagues for the SGML laser treatment certificates and trained visiting physicians, including a group from Thammasat University in Thailand.
03Approach
For Firat Aslanel, every treatment begins with understanding the skin. This leads to careful planning, an honest assessment and a clear treatment plan. A laser is used only when it is medically appropriate—with the aim of maintaining skin health and improving its appearance in a targeted way.

Firat Aslanel works across four areas of dermatology: medical, surgical, laser-based and aesthetic dermatology. He has more than ten years of clinical experience in these fields. His day-to-day work includes laser medicine, the treatment of vascular and pigmented lesions, injection treatments and minimally invasive procedures. He also teaches at UMA Academy in Amsterdam and provides further training for physicians in Switzerland.
